To rephrase the question the woman that go to a barber shop why do the prefer a barber shop to a salon?

I personally don't go to a barber shop... I prefer the salon... but the person who cuts my hair (that I've seen for YEARS) works in a salon. If he were to move to a barber shop... I'd then go there. For me, it's just a matter of where my ';guy'; is.
