my younger brother has long hair about to his neck, should he go to a normal barber to get it trimmed(he just wants it a bit shorter) or a hair salon, since they are more used to long hair. hes been kinda scared of other people cutting his hair becus they always cut it weird, how can he choose a good barber?If a guy has long hair, should he go to the barber or hair salon?
Barber shops are for old men and people who get buzz cuts and don;t care about style. Go to a hair salon, I see guys at my salon all the time, with short and long hair!If a guy has long hair, should he go to the barber or hair salon?
Well if it just needs to be trimmed it's not really worth the price you pay at a salon and a barber is experienced mainly in short hair so they may mess it up. Personally, I'd settle for just taking an inch off the tips and save the money.
Overall, if you don't mind spending the money, salon all the way.
I personally would go to a hair salon only because they are used to long hair and they usually are very cautious about how the costumer wants it done.
